photo photography

From 11-18 June 2011 a sailing cruise combined with a photography workshop will take place on one or two (depending of the number of registrations) of our yachts. The voyage encompasses one of the three main sailing grounds: the Gulf of Gökova, by Jacques Cousteau described as a paradise on earth. This is one of the finest sailing areas on the Turkish coast with numerous coves and pituresque anchorages, where history, culture and nature can be perfectly combined. It's a pilgrimage through 3.500 years of Western history, a homage to the past and an understanding of ancient civilizations. Certainly a very photogenic area! The landscape here is breathtaking and the sailing is quite calm; no high waves and the wind-force is usually no more than 3 or 4.

Every morning some theory will be presented, after which the trainees get a photographic assignment to experience and practise it immediately. Every evening the (best) pictures the trainees will be discussed and judged jointly. Naturally there will be enough time left for relaxation and private activities such as excursions to archeological sites, wind surfing, snorkelling, jet skiing and water skiing.

Costs: € 975, - including theory and practical, course materials, accommodation, 3 meals a day including drinks and transfers to and from Bodrum Harbour. Excluding the flight to Bodrum (about € 339,- if flying from Amsterdam). Total price: € 1314,-
Minimum number of participants: 7
Final payment date: May 30, 2011
